Michael Boniello is a licensed clinical social worker
in both Kansas and Missouri. He has been in private practice for
the past seventeen years in Prairie Village, Kansas where he has specialized
in trauma recovery, sexual compulsivity, and the treatment of sex offenders. Prior
to establishing his own practice, he served as program manager of adolescent
sex offenders at Wyandotte Mental Health Center and as a staff clinician
on the adult sex offenders unit. In addition to his clinical practice,
he has consulted with a number of agencies including Social and Rehabilitation
Services (KS), the Division of Family Services
(MO), and Lansing Correctional Facility. He has also presented
at numerous conferences on the state, national and international levels. He
has been a faculty member at the University of Kansas for the past ten
years where he has taught Clinical Social Work Supervision, Advanced
Clinical Practice, Mental Health and Psychopathology and Social
Work with Traumatized Populations. At present, he is studying the effects
of positive fathering on child development and is hoping to incorporate
his findings into his clinical and academic practice. |
