Margaret Comford, LCSW, LSCSW is the founder of the Midwest Trauma Treatment Center. She brings over 20 years experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma including abuse/neglect, grief, homelessness, and domestic violence.
She has provided direct therapy services, clinical supervision and program
development/administration. She has extensive and advanced training on Trauma
Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
She is also trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Abuse Focused Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy. In addition, she has been trained in several of the promising
practices identified by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN).
Ms. Comford is also a foster/adopt parent.
