Sarah Oland has been a Hospital & Family Services Coordinator for Midwest Transplant Network for over four years. She works with families in Critical Care who have the opportunity to consider organ donation and serves as the primary liaison to four hospitals in the Kansas City area. Sarah has 10 years experience as a medical social worker, specializing in trauma, ER and Intensive Care. She has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. The Society of Social Work Leaders in Health Care named her the National Social Work Leader of the Year in 2001.
